How does direct deposit to the employee
PAYCHEK PLUS!™ card work?

The process is identical to traditional direct deposit
except funds are deposited to the PAYCHEK PLUS!
card account, not a personal bank account. Please refer the procedures outlined in the Payroll System Update section of this document.

How do I promote the PAYCHEK PLUS!™ program to my employees?
Always rely on the features and benefits outlined within the materials provided to you. Provide information on bulletin boards, through departmental distribution, in break rooms, in their paycheck envelopes - any place where you can highlight the value this program will deliver - then schedule an employee meeting to discuss the program and enroll employees.

Can employees choose not to participate?
Existing employees must have the option to continue to receive their pay via paper paycheck. However, it is in your best interest to promote PAYCHEK
PLUS!
™ as the replacement to paper paychecks and require existing employees to 'opt out' of the process by completing a form available through your Human Resources department.

How do employees sign up for the PAYCHEK PLUS!™ card?
Once an employee elects to be paid using PAYCHEK PLUS!™, they obtain a card from you, complete the Employee Enrollment form and begin enjoying the benefits of PAYCHEK PLUS!™. The Employee Enrollment form is similar to traditional direct deposit forms and should be kept within the employee's files.

I currently utilize a payroll processor. How will the PAYCHEK PLUS!™ card affect this process?
Most payroll processors already provide direct deposit service to their customers. Our process is a similar process, therefore it shouldn't impact your payroll processor. The employee is paid directly on the PAYCHEK PLUS!™ card.

How long will it take from my company signing on with PAYCHEK PLUS!™ to actually be able to process payroll using the system?
Having your company set up to begin enrolling employees will happen within just a few days. However, if your payroll system/provider requires a pre-note process, it may take more one or more pay periods for the process to become active.

What if an employee's card is lost or stolen?

Refer to the procedures outlined within this document. The cardholder has the ability to transfer funds from the old account to the new very quickly and easily, or they can report the loss to FSV and have the funds transferred by the Customer Service Department. Either way, it is important that the cardholder reacts quickly when they discover the loss - in all cases, the cardholder can contact FSV to immediately have funds frozen, preventing further loss.

What if an error is made in payroll calculation and an overpayment or underpayment of payroll occurs?
This type of error is corrected by your Payroll Department by initiating two transactions: one to reverse the incorrect amount and one to deposit the correct payroll amount.

What if an employee reports that an unauthorized charge has occurred on his/her PAYCHEK PLUS!™ card?
Have the employee contact Customer Service immediately at your program specific toll free number. Make sure the employee refers to his/her cardholder agreement disclosure under "Error Resolution Procedures" and follows the requested procedures to expedite the correction to be made.
